Port Canaveral Welcomes New Royal Caribbean Ship, Minus The Saw

Royal Caribbean‘s Enchantment of the Seas arrived today in Port Canaveral, Florida to sail year-round three-, four- and five-night sailings, replacing aging Monarch of the Seas and bringing a host of new onboard options to cruise travelers. For those not familiar with Enchantment of the Seas, this is the ship that Royal Caribbean sawed in half to expand in 2005, adding a 73-foot long section.  The new section included 151 new staterooms, outdoor trampoline bungees, suspension bridges, an expanded pool area, a 64-jet interactive fountain area for kids, and floor windows allowing an unobstructed view of the ocean below and new paintings by Paul Critchley for the Windjammer cafe. Just out of an extensive revitalization process that added new dining options, enhanced offerings for children, new technology.  Let’s take a look at what has been added: The complimentary Park Café where guests can grab gourmet sandwiches, salads and more. Royal Babies and Tots Nursery in the cruise line’s award-winning Adventure Ocean kids’ program, which offers exclusive children’s programming developed in partnership with Fisher-Price and Crayola.
